Turkey
Day is the most important event and holiday every year at Kirkwood. Every year
the best Kirkwood football players and the best Webster football players compete
against each other to win the prize and to say you are the better school.
TheTurkey Day tradition
between the Kirkwood Pioneers and the Webster Groves statesmen began in 1907
on the first annual Turkey Day game. Kirkwood won the first Turkey day game
5-0. The winning team wins the Frisco Bell to take home and put it in the school
that whole year. This year is the 99th year anniversery for Turkey Day.
The
week before Thanksgiving break Kirkwood celebrates Turkey Day with fun activites
to get our team mates pumped and and everybody in the town celebrate and bond
