The Photography of Steve Jonak

Steve Jonak was born and raised in south St. Louis. Jonak attended Cleveland High School and graduated in 1977 from USAF Academy.  Steve Jonak began teaching in 1980, has been at Kirkwood High School for 20 years, and currently is the Department Chair of the Mathematics Department at KHS. Photography has been a passion for Jonak for over 30 years, and he switched to digital photography just a couple of years ago.   Not only is he a photographer and teacher, but Jonak adds to his repertoire, “two kids, two cars, one wife, one big screen TV…[and for my] other hobbies...been skydiving since 1983, and have a little over 3200 jumps.”
